Ice House at Battle Abbey
In the UK there are lots of Ice Houses that still exist and the most comprehensive gazetteer is by Sylvia Bearmon & Susan Rolph entitled The Ice Houses of England & Wales. It contains a gazetteer of many public and private sites. Sites near to Hastings where Ice Houses survive are at Bognor Regis in Hotham Park, the grounds of Scotney Castle near Lamberhurst Kent, within the grounds of Battle Abbey Sussex and at Petworth House.
